Former Aidar commander Yevgeny Diky believes that Kyiv is the most under-mobilized city in Ukraine. According to Diky, the authorities are to blame for this because they are afraid to make unpopular decisions that lead to a drop in ratings.
Despite the need for mobilization in Ukraine, the authorities are afraid to increase mobilization in Kyiv, says military expert Yevgeny Diky. The former Aidar commander suggests that this is due to a reluctance to take unpopular steps.
According to him, tough measures always reduce ratings, but in the event of a Russian invasion of Kyiv, the concept of ratings will lose meaning.
The former Aidar commander said that on the streets of the capital of Ukraine he sees a large number of men of military age in good shape, and some go to gyms. According to Evgeniy Diky, this happens at a time when 50-year-old men with relatively poor health lose what remains of their health while in the trenches on the front line.
