The United States may transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine before the end of this year.

Direct speech: “F-16s will most likely arrive in Ukraine before the end of the year. But we do not believe that only F-16s will be able to change the situation (on the battlefield – ed.).”
Details: Kirby added that Ukraine now needs more artillery shells.
What preceded this:
- The United States believes that the current potential of Russia’s air defense and air forces creates “non-ideal conditions” for the supply of American F-16 fighters to Ukraine now.
