Russia Attacked Odessa Region With Onyx Missiles, – Ignat

On the afternoon of July 21, Russian invaders attacked the Odessa region with Onyx anti-ship missiles. The enemy fired up to 4 missiles.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat on the air of the telethon.

“As for the Onyxes, we are already seeing the third Onyx attack. Thus, according to preliminary information, from 10 a.m. and as of now, the enemy has used up to 4 P-800 Onyx missiles in the Odessa region somewhere south of the regional center,” he said.

Ignat added that Onyx missiles are difficult to shoot down with existing air defense systems, as they fly low and fast. According to him, the Ukrainian military is using electronic warfare to influence the Onyxes.

“Fighting missiles is such a thing. We need to fight the carriers, the launchers,” the speaker stressed.

Recall that this afternoon in the northern, central, eastern and southern regions of Ukraine an air raid alert was announced. The command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of possible launches of missiles, in particular, “Onyx” in the direction of the Odessa region.

Local residents in social networks reported explosions in the Odessa region. it was assumed that the air defense had worked.

Also, the occupiers fired missiles at the Chernihiv region, damaged the house of culture.
