The President of Venezuela has said that humanity must stand up against Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people. Nicolas Maduro made his comment while hosting the Palestinian Ambassador to Caracas, Fadi Al-Zaben, on Tuesday’s edition of the “Maduro and More” television programme.
Citing an article in the New York Times in which the writer compared what the Palestinians in Gaza are being subjected to with the treatment of the Jews by the Nazis, Maduro said: “Women and children were the first to be thrown into the gas chambers, and today we see that Israel is doing the same thing to the Palestinian people. Women and children are being killed in a horrific manner.”
For the 32nd consecutive day, Israel has been bombing the Gaza Strip and targeting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. As of yesterday, Israel had killed 10,328 Palestinians, including 4,237 children and 2,719 women. More than 25,000 people have been wounded.
